Name- Emma Stankovic 

Title- “Solar System”












The original art piece that inspired me was “Sunflowers” by Vincent Van Gogh.


I changed the original “Sunflowers” into a solar system. I took the 11 flowers that are showed and I added the 11 planets to them instead. Also, instead of using the original background, I used a black backround to represent space.

  Emma Stankovic  Week 10 Blog  Creative Expression  (1)  I think getting to create your own story is very beneficial because you get to use your imagination and your ideas to create a story. You get to be more creative and go in whatever direction you please. However, using the AI to assist writing a story was very helpful when you hit a road block or need to add more context or ideas. I think when using the AI to assist, the story isn't as detailed so you do have to add your own details.  (2) You can use these Ai programs for so many reasons. The first way you could use the AI is to help with lesson plans and to give ideas for an activity or lesson plan. You could also use them to help you build problems for a test such as math or questions on a reading exam. Week 6 Reflection

  For week 6 we made our food art... For my food art I made an aquarium out of cheeze-its, fruit loops, popcorn, and goldfish, and for the butterfly I used apples, cheeze-its, fruit loops, and popcorn. These types of activities affect the development of children by teaching them how to recycle and to use their creative skills. It also could develop patience and resilience if someone messes up or fails. You could use this activity in your curriculum for may lessons. You could use them for lessons on recycling, nutrition, and science.  Next, we went to the Maltby center to look at the art gallery and museum.    There was two pieces of art that stood out to me at the gallery. The first one was the picture of the old car and tree that when you walked side to side, it shifted from being an old tree to a new tree and an old car to a newer car. Week 4 Reflection

Emma Stankovic  Reflection-  This week we talked about the importance of music in the classroom. We watched videos from “the sound of music” as examples of ways to get music into the classrooms. We then did an activity with our tables where we had to create the perfect classroom set up to involve music. In our classroom we had a projector for music videos, a music library, and carpet seating with instruments. We then had to come up with a way to add culture into our music classroom. My table came up with the idea to learn a new song once a month for a different culture. After we made the posters we did a gallery walk which was very helpful to be able to hear everyone else's feedback and ideas.  We also watched a video on how a teacher got students to use music and rocks from our last lesson all to create a story with meaning.
